Privacy & Discretion

Is my order discreet?
Yes — always. Every Vela order ships in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents on the outside of the box. We take your privacy seriously at every step.

What will appear on my billing statement?
Your billing statement will show VELA RITUALS— nothing more. There is no reference to the nature of your purchase.

Will anyone know what I ordered?
No. Your order information is private and never shared. Our packaging, billing descriptor, and shipping labels are all designed with your discretion in mind.

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 5–8 business days. Expedited shipping (3–5 business days) is available at checkout for $14.95. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is $6.95. Shipping is free on all orders over $65. Expedited shipping is $14.95.

Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States only, including Alaska, Hawaii, and US military addresses (APO/FPO).

How do I track my order?
Once your order ships you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Most orders are trackable through USPS or UPS depending on fulfillment location.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We process orders quickly. If you need to make a change, contact us at hello@velarituals.com immediately after placing your order. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered fulfillment.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
Due to the intimate nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened personal care items, intimate wellness products, or pleasure products. This policy exists to protect the health and safety of all our customers. We are transparent about this before every purchase.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us at hello@velarituals.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will make it right.

Can I return unopened body care products?
Unopened, unused body care products in original packaging may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us before sending anything back.

Products & Safety

Are your products body-safe?
Yes. Every product we carry meets our body-safe standards. We do not carry products containing phthalates, harmful plastics, or unsafe materials. Product materials are listed in each product description.

How do I know which products are right for me?
Our blog, The Vela Journal, has guides covering everything from choosing your first personal massager to understanding intimate lubricants. If you have a specific question, email us at hello@velarituals.com.

Are your products compatible with condoms?
This depends on the specific product. Silicone-based lubricants are not compatible with silicone toys. Water-based lubricants are safe with all materials. Product descriptions specify compatibility — when in doubt, choose water-based.

Payments & Security

Is my payment secure?
Yes. All transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. We never store your full payment information.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

How do I use a discount code?
Enter your discount code in the discount field at checkout before completing your purchase. Only one discount code can be applied per order.

Account & Email

Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. Creating an account allows you to track orders and access your order history.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you will be removed immediately. You will still receive transactional emails related to your orders.
